Maria Valdez

Through her relentless work in Chicago, especially in the Logan Square, Hermosa, and Humboldt Park communities, Maria Valdez has developed community programs for families who are most in need. Her hard work has allowed for countless young people to find a friendly, peaceful space where they can be creative, follow their dreams, and deterred them from the violence that plagues at-risk neighborhoods. Parents have also found a voice and purpose through Maria’s work. Parents have become involved in the decision-making progress of their communities, graduated from college, and have become the next activists and organizers.

Maria’s philosophy is simple: clients come first. She pledges to be in constant communication with clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. Her core belief is that if a client is not left with an amazing experience, she hasn’t done her job, since she doesn’t measure success through achievements or awards, but through the satisfaction of her clients. 

Knowing the lack of resources our communities face and the lack of Latina entrepreneurship, Maria helped build a real estate business that focuses on educating families and creating awareness, while making a meaningful impact on Latino families looking for a home. Through her business, she has sponsored community events and organizations that continue to assist the most-in-need and is leading a new wave of Latina leadership in the Chicago area and abroad.
